2012 Psychodrama Groups
Psychodrama Workshops 2012
Participants can join at the commencement of each Series and frequently attend multiple series of workshops.
These groups are for people interested in opportunities to explore themselves and their relationships through psychodrama. Psychodrama employs guided dramatic action to enact and understand our feelings and behaviour and is an active and experiential method for exploring the challenges of living.
These ongoing groups are an excellent forum to explore problems, gain clarity, develop new perspectives, learn from each other and experiment with new behaviours at your own pace. My aim is to develop a safe and supportive group culture promoting relationship, self-expression, honesty, risk taking, and experimentation, which allows the development of increased self-awareness and helps you to live in a spirited, authentic and enlivened way.
Participation is suitable for individuals who are resolving conflicts of living including relationship, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, assertiveness, loss, transition and midlife. It is also suitable for those who wish to enhance their creativity and use it to assist in making new life choices.
Testimonials
Psychodrama has had an amazing impact on my life and I now consider it food for the soul.
Psychodrama has provided me a place to actively understand more clearly some difficult issues in my life. With the insights gained through the challenging, dramatic group-work I feel I am changing and able to change for the better. It has been a wonderful privilege to share with and be supported by others in this process.
The psychodrama group was great. The method helped me to work with aspects of my personal issues in a way that clarified the roles and created an impetus to do things differently. Aspects of self, of which I was previously unaware became obvious both through my own work and the work of the group participants. The work and the group supported me through a difficult time.
My interest in psychodrama was to improve my self-awareness. The group provided a safe environment to explore myself and to gain a deeper understanding by experiencing emotional learning. I felt an attachment to people in the group that was refreshing. Professionally I learnt a lot in really connecting up with people and have become a better coach as a result. Thank you.
“Thank you for the safe environment you created. I went to psychodrama wanting to find my passion; in the process I did some genuine healing, rediscovered my power and took control of my future. I had time to explore past hurts, delve into present dreams and get back on track.”Thank you”
“Thank you for running your groups this year. It has been wonderful for me to have such a good group to refer my patients to and I am delighted with the progress my patients have made. I will certainly be referring patients to you next year so please keep me informed about all you have going.”
